America Swings is a celebration of music, uniquely American music, with the incredible artists whose talents have shaped our culture and our lives.

Our first Radio show was aired on June 1, 2002 in Los Angeles, California.

Inspired by the immediate and favorable response from enthusiastic listeners, most of whom were lovers and appreciative of great music, we proceeded further. We began to add more radio stations to air America Swings.

On every show there are echoes of elegance and musical excellence as Horace Heidt so adeptly interviews, inimitably talented entertainers from the Golden Era of radio, TV and the silver screen. The Audience becomes acquainted or reacquainted with Horace's guests, most of whom have become immortalized by past, magnificent musical performances that eternally continue to make America's heart sing.

The guests, all former family favorites, were the resplendently luminous stars from the music world or Hollywood's fabulous firmament, or both. In essence the entire show, America Swings is Horace Heidt's Golden Era Celebrity Curtain Call. Most gracefully, enchantingly and urbanely presented are entertainment legends whose luminous luster lingers.

Each show is for the audience, an ethereal, soul satisfying experience. Many listeners remark, "The show is too short!" But they are unanimously praiseworthy in agreeing that for a wondrously entertaining interval, "All seems fresh with the fragrance of spring" when America Swings.
